CompactStats is an independent site operated from Northern Ireland, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@compactstats.com.

By using CompactStats you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What CompactStats is — and is not

• Everything on the site — ratings, predictions, projections, trends — is analysis of historical data. Our predictions are statistical forecasts: a probability, never a guarantee of any outcome. Like any forecast, they will sometimes be wrong; that is the nature of probability.
• Any decision you make — including any bet — is yours alone, made at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for losses of any kind arising from use of, or reliance on, the site.
• Nothing on the site constitutes financial, investment or professional advice, an inducement to gamble, or a "tip".
• The site is for users aged 18 or over. If you gamble, gamble responsibly — see our Disclaimer & Responsible Gambling page and BeGambleAware.org.

Use of the site

CompactStats is provided for personal, non-commercial, informational use. You may view and reference the information for your own purposes.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download the site or its underlying data by automated means.
• Do not use bots, scripts or other automated tools to access the service.
• Do not republish, resell, redistribute or make available our data, ratings or graphics as a dataset or feed.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.

Intellectual property

The CompactStats name, the CS Index and other ratings, rankings, layouts and graphics are the property of CompactStats. The site's compiled statistics are also protected as a database: systematic extraction or re-use of all or a substantial part of them requires our written consent. Underlying match data is supplied by third parties and remains the property of its respective owners (see the Disclaimer for sources).

Service availability & changes to the service

We aim to keep CompactStats available and up to date, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be added, changed, suspended or removed at any time as the site develops, and short outages or delayed data can happen. If a prolonged outage on our side meaningfully cuts into an active ad-free pass, email us and we'll extend the pass or refund it.

Ad-free pass — billing

• What it is: a one-off purchase (currently $4.99) that removes advertising from CompactStats for 30 days in the browser you buy it in. It is a payment for an ad-free experience only — it does not include tips, picks, guaranteed results or any additional content.
• No auto-renewal: it is a single payment, not a subscription. Nothing recurs, and we never store a way to charge you again. When the 30 days end, the site simply offers you the choice again.
• Payment processing: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices may include applicable taxes depending on your location.
• Where it applies: the pass is stored in the browser you activate it in. Other devices or browsers, private-browsing windows, or clearing your browser data will not carry the pass. If you lose your pass this way within its 30 days, reply to your Stripe receipt or email hello@compactstats.com and we'll restore it.
• Refunds: by purchasing, you ask us to start the ad-free service immediately and acknowledge that, once the 30-day period has been fully delivered, the legal right to withdraw no longer applies. That said, if the pass doesn't work for you or you change your mind within 14 days of purchase, email us and we'll refund it in full. No form needed — an email to hello@compactstats.com with your receipt date saying you want to cancel is enough. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
• Buying the pass does not change the nature of the service: everything in "What CompactStats is — and is not" applies equally to paying users. The pass removes ads; it does not buy any promise of betting success.

No warranty & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CompactStats is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the site — including any betting or financial decisions. Our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if nothing, £0). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. See the Disclaimer.

Changes to these terms

We may update the service and these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use means you accept the current version — but changes never reduce what you've already paid for: an active ad-free pass runs to its end date on the terms it was bought under.

Complaints

If something's wrong — billing, data or anything else — email hello@compactstats.com and we'll respond as quickly as we can. Payment disputes can also be raised with your card issuer, but please give us the chance to fix it first — we're usually faster.

Transfer of these terms

If CompactStats changes ownership or legal structure, we may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to the new operator; your rights, including any active pass, are unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Northern Ireland courts. Nothing in these terms takes away consumer rights you're entitled to under the law where you live.
